Bukittinggi are located on west Sumatra. Bukittinggi is known as city of tour, because has numerous tourism object. Like as clock tower (jam gadang), sianok canyon, panorama, and so on. Bukittinggi also has fresh weather which make the visitor comfortable stay in bukittinggi.

Clock tower is located on pasaratas. Clock tower is known as symbol of bukittinggi city, because the visitors who come in Bukittinggi haven’t gone to Bukittinggi if they don’t go to clock tower. In there, there are large garden which has beautiful view and in front of clock tower also has horse driven coach which ready carry us to other place.

The another tourism object in Bukittinggi is sianok canyon. In sianok canyon there is lubangjepang (japanes hole). Long time ago, lubangjepang was a placed to put a corpse by Portugal people. But now, lubangjepang is becomed tourism object. If we want to enter in lubangjepang, referable we must enter with guide. In order to we don’t lost there,because in lubangjepang there are many tunnel. Beside lubangjepang, in sianok canyon also has lambah river. And it make sianokcanyon  become more harmoniously. In ngaraisianok there are some place with name kotogadang. kotogadang is known with craftsman of silver. It is made become many accessories.  Koto gadang has famous traditional food, it is gulaiitiakladohijau which very delicious.

Bukittinggi has some market. Like as pasar atas, pasar bawah and lereng market. Pasar bawah is known as traditional market by bukittinggi people, because in pasar bawah is sold traditional food and food material. Like as vegetables, fruit, meat, godok, onde-onde, and so on. In pasar atas is sold many thing like as clothes, accessories,and other. And the interesting market is lereng market. Lereng market is interface between pasar atas and pasar bawah. There, is  sold many thing, example: many clothes which coast is cheaper than pasar atas.

In lereng market also sold Bukittinggi traditional food.its nasikapau, katupekpical,and cindua langkok. The place is called lost lambuang. The other specific food in bukittinggi there is Sanjai crackers (karupuaksanjai). Karupuaksanjai is made from cassava. And from cassava become karupuaksanjai, sanjaibalado, rubik and other.
